Avingtrans unit secures steam turbine order worth more than £10m

Avingtrans said subsidiary Peter Brotherhood had secured an order worth more than £10m to supply steam turbines for a floating production Vessel.

As part of the contract, expected to be delivered during 2020, the business had also secured an option to provide a similar set of turbines for a yet-to-be-confirmed, potential future vessel.

The order followed a similar project that saw Peter Brotherhood supply components for the world's first floating LNG vessel conversion -- the Hilli Episeyo -- which commenced production offshore Cameroon earlier this year.

At 2:39pm: (LON:AVG) Avingtrans PLC share price was +1p at 213.5p
