London Stock Exchange poaches Experian chairman Donald Robert

London Stock Exchange Group said it had appointed Donald Robert as its new chairman.

Robert was currently chairman of information services company Experian.

He would succeed outgoing LSE chairman Donald Brydon at the company's annual general meeting in May.

Experian said in a separate announcement that its corporate governance committee would oversee the process of finding a replacement for Robert.

At 3:02pm:

(LON:EXPN) Experian PLC share price was +5.25p at 1904.75p

(LON:LSE) London Stock Exchange Group PLC share price was +23p at 4053p
