Costain order book flat at £3.7bn in first half

Smart infrastructure group Costain said its order book at the end of June was flat on-year at £3.7bn.

The company said it also had a preferred bidder position of £400m, while tendering levels remained 'high'.

Net cash at 30 June stood at around £75m, down from £87.5m on-year, reflecting the timing of billing receipts.

'The group has continued to perform well during the first half and remains on course to deliver results for the year in line with the board's expectations,' Costain said.

At 2:37pm: (LON:COST) Costain Group PLC share price was +6.75p at 438.25p
