Kingfisher sales rise 22% as lockdowns ease

(Sharecast News) - DIY retail group Kingfisher pulled current year guidance but said second quarter like-for-like sales to June 13 rose 21.8% as coronavirus lockdowns were eased across Europe. The company, which owns B&Q in the UK and Brico Depot in France, on Wednesday reported a 65.7% slump in pre-tax profits for the year to January 31 to £103m.
