Amur Minerals identifies sufficient groundwater reserves to support Russian mine

Amur Minerals said a hydrological assessment had identified sufficient groundwater reserves to support its proposed Kun-Manie nickel-copper mine in the far east of Russia.

The assessment confirmed both potable and ablution water and process water supplies were available for the mining and processing of 6m tonnes of ore per annum.

The investigation was carried out as part of an ongoing project feasibility study.
