James Dowding

James has managed investment portfolios for over 30 years, with a wealth of experience gained across several leading financial institutions. James spent the first half of his career in institutional portfolio management. He spent 15 years at HSBC Asset Management, where he headed the Global Fixed Income team responsible for the management of fixed-income portfolios for sovereign and central bank clients. James moved into wealth management in 2005 and was the vice president responsible for the development of fixed-income businesses across the EMEA region at JP Morgan Private Bank. In 2013, he moved into private client multi-asset portfolio management with Charles Stanley & Co. Ltd. before joining the team at Redmayne Bentley in Fulham.

James is a Chartered Fellow of CISI and holds the CISI Diploma and PCIAM certificate. In his spare time, James enjoys the outdoor life with his wife and spends many hours walking and jogging in the Kent countryside.
