Redmayne Bentley achieves recognition at prestigious UK financial awards

In times of uncertainty, guiding investors through the ups and downs of the global markets has become more important than ever.

Redmayne Bentley’s commitment to outstanding service and expertise has been recognised with the award of Best Advisory Service at the City of London Wealth Management Awards (COLWMA) 2019.
The award was announced at a ceremony at The Guildhall, London, last night (14th March).

Stuart Davis, Joint Chief Executive of the investment management and stockbroking firm, said: “We are delighted that clients have voted for us to achieve such a prestigious award.

“At a time when there is much talk of ‘robo-advice’, what clients tell us they really want is a personal, often face-to-face service, tailored to their unique aims, objectives and circumstances as individuals. In fact, many approach us for the first time after a recommendation from family or friends.

“I, on behalf of the firm, want to thank every client who voted for us and to our fantastic team of individuals in our various locations for their dedication to providing the best personal service.”

Redmayne Bentley’s relationships with clients form the foundation of its award-winning service. Whether a client opts for the Dealing with Advice service or the more comprehensive Advisory investment management service, they benefit from direct contact with and expertise of an experienced and qualified adviser or investment manager.

Of course, the circumstances of individual clients change over time, adding an extra layer of complexity to managing their investments. This is where the discretionary investment management service may help. It is designed for clients who prefer to entrust the running of their portfolios to an investment manager who will continually manage their portfolio to deliver a number of personal objectives such as a specific income, capital and/or tax requirements and perhaps a desire to invest in a socially responsible way.

Investment managers are able to use their expertise across all asset classes and are not constrained to in-house ‘buy’ lists. This enables them to construct a bespoke portfolio that they believe is best suited to their client’s unique personal investment requirements and financial circumstances.

With the debate on Brexit having raged interminably, with a background of ongoing trade negotiations between the US and China, it is as important as ever that portfolios are built to withstand market pressures.
Redmayne Bentley’s client-focused ethos is also at the centre of its traditional stockbroking service. Its execution-only service is ideally suited to experienced investors who seek a high-quality service with the option for an ongoing relationship with a stockbroker.

Clients can access global markets and a wide range of asset classes, as well as receive up-to-date market news and information.

The City of London Wealth Management Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of both the companies and the individuals working in the wealth management sector.

Redmayne Bentley’s award comes just four months after the firm’s exceptional success at the Investors Chronicle/Financial Times Investment and Wealth Management Awards, when it received Best Full Service Stockbroker, Best Stockbroker for Customer Service, Best Self Select ISA and overall Stockbroker of the Year 2018. The firm was also successful at the COLWMA 2018, being named Best ISA Provider and Regional Wealth Management Company of the Year: North of England.
