Redmayne-Bentley welcomes Jonathan Adams to Cambridge branch

Investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne-Bentley has expanded its Cambridge office with the addition of investment manager Jonathan Adams.

A Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a Chartered Wealth Manager, Jonathan joins from Fieldings Investment Management, with whom he had been an investment manager since 1993 and was a founder shareholder when it incorporated in 1994.

Jonathan said: “I am delighted to join an award winning company such as Redmayne-Bentley.”

Jonathan started his City career with Laurie Milbank/Chase Manhattan, moving to Panmure Gordon and becoming an assistant director with responsibilities for institutional gilt sales and private client liaison, bond portfolio management and corporate finance relationships.

In 1986 he joined Baring Brothers, where he held specialist responsibilities for UK and US clients and was a member of the strategy committee.

Redmayne-Bentley’s Cambridge office was opened by investment manager Mark Rigby in 2013 and was joined by stockbroker Luke Simmonds two years ago. The office offers a wide range of investment management and stockbroking services to private clients, companies, trusts and charities and works with clients country and worldwide.

Mark Rigby, manager of the branch in Brooklands Avenue, said: “It gives me great pleasure to announce the expansion of our Cambridge team, especially with the appointment of someone of Jonathan’s experience and calibre.”
