Undergraduate Student Placements

Each year we take on several undergraduate sandwich course students who work with us for a minimum of twelve months from July.

Each individual will spend time in a variety of departments across operations, investment management and stockbroking in order to gain an overview of the firm and the industry. All students will be expected to pass the first module of the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma entitled UK Regulation & Professional Integrity within the first six months of their placement.

The Student Placement programme for 2018/19 is now closed.

What are the Opportunities?

The year you spend with us will provide you with the foundations to make a real mark within the finance industry, particularly private client stockbroking. If you have a successful year there may be the possibility of you returning to us on a permanent basis.

Benefits and Qualifications
The placement is a year in industry and there will also be some academic study for you to undertake. The exam that you will sit whilst with us will be the first module of the Investment Advice Diploma. This exam will be paid for by the company and will give you a firm understanding of the regulations and legislation that underpin the financial markets.
