Our core values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility and Teamwork are central to our daily operations and in all that we do.  In a recent staff survey, when asked what three words describe the company culture, our colleagues responded with ‘Professional’ ‘Friendly’ and ‘Client-focussed’.

What you will be doing

Using your keen interest in the financial services sector, you will undertake training via our training & competency scheme, attaining the skills to be able to execute trades in the stock market on behalf of clients, the regulatory principles required to perform the role, communicate effectively both over the telephone and face to face and provide an excellent service to both existing and potential new clients.  As you progress through your training you will be expected to gain the CISI level 4 IAD UK Regulation and Professional Integrity exam, which will provide you with the platform to take client investment instructions. There will be opportunities to develop yourself further by taking exams as you continue with your career progression.

As the position is within a highly regulated sector you will be ensuring compliance with the FCA rules and regulations, which is fundamental when assisting clients and opening new accounts.

What you will bring to the team
You will be educated to A-level standard, with a keen eye for detail, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an excellent and professional telephone manner and the ability to work as part of a team. You will be driven and enthusiastic for learning more about the investment and financial industry, with the ability to build relationships with our clients to deliver an exceptional service.

The role requires you to be able to manage a varied workload, to prioritise tasks and handle personal data with a high level of confidentiality. Furthermore, you will be able to apply your own initiative and take responsibility to resolve any issues as they arise.

Benefits
We offer a competitive reward packaged including 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service), a discretionary bonus scheme, contributory pension, private medical care and travel loans.
