Stock Reconciliations Administrator

The Finance and Reconciliations Department is seeking an enthusiastic and highly analytical Stock Reconciliations Administrator to join their team at Leeds head office.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Monitoring Crest processing and identifying any form of fungible misuse of stock
  • Carrying out the reconciling of daily cash rejections
  • To reconcile all holdings, including dematerialized, Residual (certs) and Unit Trusts, to Minnie Portfolio holdings records and forwarding discrepancies to the relevant departments
  • To complete all reconciliations accurately and in accordance with the FCA regulations to ensure the Client money asset return is completed in accordance with CASS rules
  • To highlight any breaches in accordance with FCA regulation, firm wide and the risk framework to the reconciliations manager to ensure they are recorded in a timely manner
  • To carry out daily reconciliation processing as required, such as Crest stamp duty, Euro and USD funds received and paid to ensure the firm remains compliant with all regulatory and internal standards at all time
  • Assisting with regular and ad hoc reconciliations and other duties as required by Senior Management
  • To provide cover for non-stock reconciliations i.e. other nominal reconciliations
Desirable skills and experience
  • One year’s experience of working within Stock Reconciliations environment
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office knowledge – Excel
  • Knowledge of Crest
  • Team worker, accurate, ability to work to a tight deadline
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Flexible to move and learn new skills as experience grows within and outside of department
Desirable Qualification

5 GCSEs (grades A – C) or equivalent including Maths and English,
ideally Degree educated
