Marketing Executive

A fixed-term vacancy has arisen in our Marketing and Communications department for a full time Marketing Executive. The role is to cover a period of maternity and is expected to last for up to 12 months.
 
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of marketing activities and undertake specific projects.
 
The main tasks of the role to:
  • copywrite, proof read, provide creative input and liaise with external creative agencies and artworkers, printers/mailing houses etc. to maintain and produce communication materials e.g. direct mail (on & offline), adverts, literature/forms, website and presentations.
  • provide general marketing support to offices and staff, including the assistance in creating Financial Promotions and ensuring that these are compliant with FCA rules.
  • deal with general incoming enquiries and requests from execs, clients, prospects and other audiences.
  • manage a range of marketing campaigns e.g. for new and existing services, seminars and events to  both external (clients, prospects and intermediaries) and internal audiences.
  • maintain a ‘TCF’ culture in respect of all the six outcomes
  • report any risks which may be detrimental to clients or to the firm’s reputation, which arise from inadequate procedures, systems or data handling
  • ensure compliance with FCA requirements, the Branch Manual, Code of Conduct policies and T&C framework. 
Ideally you should hold knowledge of marketing principles and theories, particularly of marketing communications strategy, tactics and techniques.
 
We are looking for candidates with a professional, confident manner and a pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude. Further to this, it is important to be able to prioritise, work unsupervised and manage deadlines within a pressurised environment. Applicants should be team players who are keen to continually develop their marketing knowledge.
 
You will have an intermediate level of MS Office knowledge and hold GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
