Junior Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a junior security analyst within our in-house IT team. The position is based within our centrally located London office, only a few minutes away from Monument station.

What you will be doing:
Providing support desk administration and assisting with additional system based admin means no day is the same. Within the role, you will be working across several functions within a highly-regulated sector and ensuring compliance is met. This position will also see you liaising with many business stakeholders to carry out Operations and Security event monitoring including incident raising. The role also gives you responsibility to carry out check reports from regular security monitoring, system patching, anti-virus scans, disk space alerts, performance alerts, etc. The role is pivotal in upholding the security of clients and the firm.

What you will bring:
You’ll have a keen eye for detail and high level of professionalism, as within this regulated sector the key need is to ensure an excellent customer service and maintain the firm’s reputation through accurate procedures and data handling. You will be able to apply initiative and take responsibility whilst resolving problems. Furthermore, you will be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a level of professionalism. You will be able to maintain integrity and work inclusively with the in-house team. On a technical note, you will possess a knowledge of windows, Cobol and Unix/Linux which will assist in your day to day tasks.
