International Administrator

Our International Settlements Department is seeking an enthusiastic International Administrator to join their team based at Leeds head office.

Reporting to the International Settlements Manager, the role involves providing the necessary operational support to the daily settlement of bargains within Redmayne Bentley.

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Updating internal records to reflect work in progress and the inputting of international trades
  • Facilitating the movement and delivery of assets and to include institutional clients, liaison with other counterparties as necessary and the movement of stocks to and from other brokers.
  • Liaising with branches, custodians, etc., as required to ensure distributions and corporate actions stocks and cash are processed smoothly, correctly and in a timely manner.
  • To check and deliver sold transfers and certificates to market
  • Delivering  purchase certificates to clients
  • Producing monthly reports and analysis of activities as requested by the Department Manager
  • Carrying out regular and ad hoc reconciliations as required
  • Producing and distributing regular and ad hoc letters/reports/statements to clients in accordance with the company regulatory standards, product specification or client requirements
  • Assisting with daily administration of the Settlements Department
  • Answering telephone queries both internally and externally
  • Supporting Senior Management with other tasks as required
Desirable skills and experience
  • Ideally 1 year of general office experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to a tight schedule
  • Flexible and eager to learn and develop new skills

Qualifications:  5 GCSE’s including Maths and English – Grades A-C or equivalent
