Dealing Assistant Administrator

Our Dealing Department is seeking an enthusiastic Dealing Assistant Administrator to join their team based at Leeds head office.
Reporting to the Dealing Manager, the Dealing Assistant Administrator role involves providing general administration assistance to the Dealing Room.

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Assisting managers and stockbrokers with administrative tasks
  • Dealing with existing and potential clients face-to-face
  • Answering general phone calls and handling a variety of customer enquiries, complaints and queries received via phone, email or post
  • Speaking to potential clients and opening new accounts
  • Carrying out unit trust dealing, investigating and resolving any resultant queries
  • Providing assistance and cover for the checking team
  • Assisting with dealing and the allocation of transactions to client accounts
  • Assisting with the collation of Management Information and distributing as appropriate
Desirable skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years previous experience within an administrative role, preferably within a financial services environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • The ability to organise workloads and work unsupervised whilst managing multiple tasks in a pressurised environment
  • High levels of confidence with an outgoing and friendly manner to work well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and an intermediate level of Microsoft Office knowledge
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade A-C (or equivalent) and 2 A Levels.

Hours of work: 8.00am to 5.00pm – 40 hours per week.
