Dealer Support Administrator

We are currently recruiting for two Dealer Support roles at our Locksbottom office.

Reporting to the Dealing Room Manager, the role involves assisting in the day-to-day administration of the Dealing Room and supporting the team of execution only dealers. 

The main duties of the role are:
  • Providing general support and performing ad hoc duties to support the branch administration, including certification
  • Assisting and undertaking project work in relation to administration and regulation requirements
  • Assisting with client enquiries, including requests for statements, valuations, etc.
  • Answering and directing the telephones
  • Providing support with the daily money off deposit reconciliation
  • Maintaining post audit for all mail, including cheques, certificates and overnight logs
  • Carry out checking and reconciliation of non STP (Straight Through Processing) within the branch
  • Running the overdue report on a daily basis
  • Complying with FCA requirements and all other relevant standards, policies and procedures at all times
All applicants must have previous experience of working to a tight schedule within a pressurised environment, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and communication skills and telephone manner are essential for this position. Additionally, you will need to be a team player who is able to adapt to changes and demonstrate high levels of initiative.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who possesses financial and industry knowledge, demonstrates strong analytical and numeracy skills and has an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office.

The role requires the successful candidate to have 5 GCSEs grade A-C including Maths and English (or equivalent).
