Investment Manager - Hereford

The Investment Management Department is seeking an enthusiastic Investment Manager to join our team at our Hereford office.

Reporting to the Head of Office, the role involves handling the day-to-day management of advisory and discretionary portfolios and day-to-day dealings.

Main responsibilities
  • Managing investment portfolios for Advisory and Discretionary clients, in accordance with the agreed risk profile and objectives.
  • Providing a dealing service to Execution-Only clients.
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients and expanding the client network with business development strategies.

Desirable skills and experience
  • A detailed knowledge of all aspects of investments and the markets generally.
  • Previous experience as an Investment Manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of confidence with an outgoing and friendly manner.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • An up-to-date valid statement of Professional Standing and an established client bank.

Qualifications
Applicants must be CF30 qualified and hold industry level qualification e.g. CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in Securities; Level 6 PCIAM Diploma; CISI Masters (Wealth Management); or equivalent accredited body retail qualification relating to securities.
