Investment Executive - Locksbottom

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Investment Executive to join our Investment Management team within one of the UK’s largest independent stockbroking and investment management firms. The role is based at the firm’s Locksbottom Office, Located just south east of London, between Bromley and Orpington.

About the Team
The office is responsible for the day-to-day management of advisory and discretionary portfolios, as well as execution-only stockbroking. We ensure that our clients’ specific individual needs are central to the entire investment management process, when creating and managing portfolios, and adopt a personal approach to investment with regular client contact at the heart of everything we do.

What you will be doing
Utilising your knowledge and expertise you will carry out the collation of research for investment ideas and/or written articles.  Pitch documents on presentations for existing and potential clients and process trades on behalf of Investment Managers. You will also handle the production and distribution of corporate actions letters for the Investment Managers as well as assisting with general client enquiries, ad-hoc requests.

What you will bring to the team
A keen eye for detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding client care. You will be able to demonstrate good time management skills as well as the ability to work well within a team.

You will have knowledge surrounding economics and the financial services and be open to further professional development within the firm. You will have a relevant educational background and show willingness for training, in order to sit the appropriate wealth management qualifications. Which will include Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma in Securities and 7, to achieve the chartered wealth management qualification.

Furthermore, you will possess good Microsoft office skills and have the ability build relationships with our clients and deliver an exceptional service.
