Investment Administrator

A vacancy has arisen in our London office for a full time Investment Administrator.
 
Reporting to the Dealing Room Manager, the role involves assisting the Investment Managers and providing support and client administration.
 
Further responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring all client relationships are documented by collating data and assisting in the administration of their accounts.
  • Providing clients and/or their agents with information and reports about their portfolios and processing client payments and ISA subscriptions.
  • Ensuring new accounts are opened in a timely manner, administering deceased accounts, and making sure the firm has the appropriate documentation.
  • Assisting with and preparing reports, correspondence and other relevant documentation including investment proposals.
  • Supporting the preparation of KYC documentation and helping to create pitch documents/ presentations for existing and potential clients.
  • Dealing with general client enquiries, ad-hoc requests and any other additional tasks.
  • Ensuring all telephone calls to the Investment Team, from branches or clients, are responded to within a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the production and distribution of corporate action letters for the investment managers and manage any other client mail merge.
Applicants should possess:
  • An interest in the stock market.
  • The ability to understand and analyse complex information.
  • Experience of dealing with and communicating with clients and colleagues – verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • The capability to remain calm under pressure whilst organising and managing time effectively.
  • Previous administration experience (within the financial services or professional services).
  • An intermediate level of Microsoft Office knowledge (in particular Word and Excel).
Ideally all candidates will be educated to A level or equivalent (including GCSE’s grade A-C in English and Maths). Relevant experience will be considered if the qualification criteria cannot be met.
