Kuwait Energy CFO resigns

Kuwait Energy Group has announced that Roger Phillips has resigned as Chief Financial Officer.

He will remain in his position for the next 2 months to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and duties.

Commenting on Roger's departure, the Chairman said:

"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am very thankful for Roger's years of service and leadership. His departure comes after having made significant contributions to the Company's growth and evolution. Roger joined Kuwait Energy in its early years in 2007 and has been instrumental in establishing the Company's financial disciplines. He has been a tremendous asset to the Company and the Board. I wish him well in his future endeavours."

Roger Phillips commented:

"I am very pleased with what we have accomplished over the past years at Kuwait Energy and feel very proud to have been a part of it. We've made significant progress in strengthening the Company's finances and positioning it for future growth. I remain committed to the Company to ensure a smooth and effective transition over the coming months and wish Kuwait Energy and all its employees well in the years ahead."
