Henderson International Income chairman to retire

Henderson International Income Trust chairman Christopher Jonas will retire from the board at the conclusion of the annual general meeting on 7 December.

He will be succeeded by Simon Jeffreys who has been on the board since the company's launch in 2011.

The company also announced it has appointed Katarzyna (Kasia) Robinski as a non-executive director with effect from 1 November.

Robinski has more than 25 years' experience in private equity and investment banking including with Hanover Investors, Prospect Investment Management, the Sutton Company (now Sutton Trust) and Goldman Sachs.
