Helical agrees first letting at 25 Charterhouse Sq

Property developer Helical has agreed its first letting at its recently completed 38,355 sq ft development at 25 Charterhouse Square, London EC1, to global marketing agency Anomaly.

Helical said that Anomaly had taken the top two floors comprising 12,195 sq ft within the newly positioned office building, securing a 10-year lease at a headline annual rent of £75.00 psf.

Helical acquired the long leasehold interest of 25 Charterhouse Square in 2015, where it undertook a major refurbishment under the design direction of Buckley Gray Yeoman Architects to increase the size of the building through the addition of a new sixth floor, including a new core rationalisation and newly modelled entrance lobby.

Helical said: "During the building's redevelopment, Charterhouse Square, situated directly opposite the property, underwent a major landscaping upgrade, further improving this historic area of Smithfield, whilst works on the new Elizabeth line and Farringdon station, located across the road from the building, are due to be completed in 2018."
