Sequoia EIIF mulls capital hike via C Shares

Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund said that, in light of the continued attractive investment environment and a growing number of opportunities in the economic infrastructure debt market, it is considering raising additional capital via the issuance of C Shares.

The Company has currently deployed over 95% of the proceeds raised at IPO and subsequently through the C Share issuance in November 2015. Furthermore, the Investment Adviser has identified a sizeable pipeline of near term investment opportunities.

"Any such capital raise, including its timing, size and approval by the Board of the Company, will be subject to prevailing market conditions. Further details will be announced in due course."
