Relocation marks new era for Redmayne-Bentley’s London office

12 June 2017

A new era has begun for the London office of investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne-Bentley with a move to new premises.

The London office has moved from Finsbury Circus to St Magnus House, Lower Thames Street, into modern offices with a prime view of the river.

The move follows a period of expansion for the branch, which has welcomed several teams with a total of 16 investment managers and support staff over the past 18 months. Most recently, the office welcomed investment managers Frank Martin and Richard Auld, both formerly of Charles Stanley.

Nick Bettison, the firm’s head of trading and manager of the London office, said: “We have seen a great deal of change as we have expanded our team of experienced and dedicated investment staff, but our commitment to an outstanding service, tailored to the needs of clients, remains the same.

“We’ve come a long way since our London branch was based in one of the ‘boxes’ just off the floor of the old London Stock Exchange and this step marks an exciting new chapter for us. We are delighted with the move and have great confidence in our future development.”

The firm has had an office in the City of London for over 25 years. The office currently employs more than 50 individuals in total, including investment managers and support staff, together with an IT systems and development team supporting the business.

More than 350 people in total work within the firm’s 37 branches across England, Scotland and Ireland.
