Data Management Administrator

A vacancy has arisen in the Data Management department, for a Data Management Administrator. This role is a fixed term position expected to end on or before June 2018.



Reporting to the Data Management Team Manager, the role involves assisting in the day-to-day administration of the Data Management Team, including providing the necessary operational support, maintenance and updates.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To create, maintain and delete standing data
  • To update internal records to reflect work in progress
  • To continue to develop personal skills.
  • To maintain a good knowledge of CLIENWAM (client maintenance program)
  • To deal with telephone queries, both internally and externally
  • To make recommendations on areas of improvement which can lead to improved efficiency and/or a reduction in costs
  • To carry out other duties as required by the department and team managers
  • To report any risks which may be detrimental to clients or to the firm’s reputation, which arise from inadequate procedures, systems or data handling.

All applicants must have previous experience of working to a tight schedule within a pressurised environment, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  Additionally you will need to be a team player who is able to adapt to changes and flexible to move and learn new skills. 

Ideally we are looking for someone who has at least one years’ experience of working within an office environment, preferably in a stockbroking or investment management firm, or a similar financial organisation.

The role requires the successful candidate to have 5 GCSEs grade A-C including Maths and English or equivalent.  Ideally applicants should have an intermediate level of Microsoft Office knowledge and previous experience of using database systems.
