Redmayne-Bentley has recently celebrated its success following a recent formal three-year review, at which the assessor, John Taylor, confirmed that he had no hesitation in recommending that the firm continue to be recognised as an Investor in People.
This year the assessor met with a comprehensive range of staff from all parts of the firm and continued to be impressed with how we manage to retain the personal positives of a family business environment whilst also growing and building further business success.
The firm has continued to strengthen its position and is now felt to be in the realms of 'best in class' for the design and implementation of management and staff development processes, demonstrating that we recognise that our staff are the core assets of our business.
Commenting on the award, John Taylor, Assessor stated that; "Redmayne-Bentley retain positive aspects of a family business and combine these with a most professional and effective approach to managing and developing people".
In agreement, Judith Ullock, Training Manager stated; "Redmayne-Bentley continues to demonstrate real commitment to the development of their staff. The recent success of retaining recognition underpins everything we do. It has been an excellent achievement and we will continue to build on this".
The assessor's report acknowledged the firm's sound business planning processes, the continued development of competencies and staff appraisals, the shift towards more open communication, and the way in which we measure the impact of training and development activities.
